The Edward Smith Mineola Lions Club had a busy summer of serving the community. The Club raised $27,000 at its annual “Taste of the Grape” wine tasting at the Cradle of Aviation Museum. The event was attended by over 200 supporters, who sampled the selection of fine wines, as well as the delicious foods donated by local restaurants. Proceeds from the event are donated to organizations such as the Guide Dog Foundation, Lions Long Island Eye Bank, Winthrop Diabetes Prevention Center and many community groups.

I just read about your event, THE TASTE OF THE GRAPE.
I own a retail store, in Farmingdale, THE DIVINE OLIVE, where I sell extra virgin olive oils, and Balsamic Vinegars, imported from Modena, Italy.
Olive Oils and Vinegars have a close relationship to the grape, and to wines. The EVOO’s are imported from Europe, and are cold pressed, and 1st pressed. The Vinegars are thick, and silky, due to the fermentation process.
I was wondering if I can be a part of your event.
If I’m not too late, please contact me by e mail above, or call 516.249.2500, if you think I can be an added asset to your event.
    Regards, Joann P Magri, President
