The Edward Smith Mineola Lions Club recently hosted its annual ‘Taste of the Grape’ Wine Tasting at the beautiful Brookville Country Club. The evening featured fine food from many of the area’s premier restaurants as well as an extraordinary selection of wines from renowned vintners. Throughout the year, the Club raised over $30,000, all of which will be donated to charitable organizations and causes as well as community groups and local students.

At the ‘Taste of the Grape’, the Club presented $10,000 donations to the AHRC Foundation, Guide Dog Foundation and Winthrop University Diabetes Research Institute/Pre Diabetes Program.
