In the below above, Mineola Lions Club President Chris Lopez, and Immediate Past President Rick Volpe are shown shipping 1055 pairs of eyeglasses to Lions Eyeglass Recycling in Roanoke Virginia.  The eyeglasses were collected by the Long island City-Astoria Lions Club and brought to the Mineola Lions Club for packaging and shipment to the recycling center in Wisconsin.
